Frozen Sleep – Halo 4 / Cortana Tribute Song
Ever since I played the ending of Halo 3, I’ve been haunted by the thought of Cortana all alone on the ship for many years. When Halo 4 trailers revealed that this was a difficult time for her because of the rampancy AI’s experience after a certain time in service, I really wanted to make a tribute song about that time. She is one of my favorite characters in video games. :)
Originally, I had wanted to do a Halo 4 cover that focused fully on this new game. However, once I finished the campaign, I realized that my love for the music in previous Halo titles stood strong. Since a lot of us have heard those melodies composed by Marty O’Donnell for years, it’s the music that’s easier to associate with Cortana and Master Chief. Those themes… So beautiful. So right.

Rains of Castamere – Game of Thrones Cover
Game of Thrones is one of the most powerful TV adaptations I’ve ever seen. The episode “Blackwater” (2nd season) has been my favorite by far. It concludes so many intense events with a beautiful and haunting rendition of Rains of Castamere by The National.
This episode confirmed my feelings about many characters. It showed some of them at their worst, while unexpectedly presenting others at their best during the worst possible circumstances. It was stunning.
I haven’t been able to get this song out of my mind. I had to do a cover. I haaaaad to. :) Hope you guys enjoy it!

Tale of the Tongues Cover
I’m so happy I was finally able to finish and upload this Tale of the Tongues cover from Skyrim!
At first, I wanted to do a different arrangement of it, with other music referenced, but it was so long and the transitions felt forced. So, I decided to scale back to my original idea. :D
The cool thing about scaling back is that I now have an idea for another video which I’ll start recording soon. It will feature a couple of pieces that didn’t make it into the final Tale of the Tongues arrangement, but that I’d still love to share with you.

I recently uploaded a new video of a song called Reignite, which is a tribute to Mass Effect and Commander Shepard with original lyrics! :)
One of the coolest things about making this was editing the video footage of the game… It made me remember so many reasons why I love this universe and its characters.
