I love Dave Grohl. Nirvana is one of the reasons I took drum set lessons as a kid. When he later started Foo Fighters, hearing him as a front man -as a songwriter- made me look up to him even more.

For this cover, I called the first music academy I attended, to ask if I could film the drums for the video there. The drums you actually hear on the song are MIDI, I don’t have mics to record a drum set well (and I am SUPER clumsy because I haven’t played in years)… but the reason I hoped I could include this clip in the video, is that the drum set I was playing, is the same drum set where I learned how to play when I was 13.
