In Dreams is my favorite song from the Lord of the Rings trilogy soundtracks by Howard Shore. I remember the first time I heard it, I couldn’t understand how this music could be so airy and dreamy and weightless. The lyrics by Fran Walsh are gorgeous. Simple & perfect.
Pippin’s Song, composed by Billy Boyd himself, was also a track that you guys have requested several times, and one that gave me goosebumps while watching the film. Especially with the particular scenes cut to the song. The melody is haunting.
It feels nice to sing them both. Start with sadness, end with hope.
As always, thank you for watching!
